Regarding the amending of the Scholarship amounts in the Constitutional Bylaws
Short Title
Section A. This may be referred to as the Officer Compensation Amendment
Amendment
Section B. The following section shall be amended in the Constitutional Bylaws to read as shown:
Section D
Scholarships
All officer compensation shall be in the form of a participatory merit scholarship; the percentage of the scholarship received shall equal the percentage of the term served.
The Executive Officers shall receive the following amounts per semester:
President: $2,000
Vice President: $1,500
Treasurer: $750
Senate officers shall receive the following amounts per semester:
President Pro Tempore: $1,000
Secretary: $750
LSM officers shall receive the following amounts per semester:
President: $1,500
General Scholarship Fund: $3,000
YAC officers shall receive the following amounts per semester:
President: $1,500
General Scholarship Fund: $3,000
In the event that the total amount of compensation exceeds 40% of the funds allocated to Student Government, then, for that semester, the amount of compensation given to each officer shall be scaled proportionately so that the total amount is 40% of the funds allocated to Student Government for that semester.
