Ice Cream funding bill of fall 2022

Relating to the purchase of ice cream for the Senate Friday Ice Cream Social.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Ice Cream Funding Bill of Fall 2022"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. A total of six-hundred and fifty ($650) will be allocated for the purchase of ice cream and supplies for the Senate Friday Ice Cream Social.

2. All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the Senate General Fund.

Effective Date

Section C.

This bill shall become effective upon passage.

Explanations and Reasoning

Section D.

This sacred tradition has been loved by many students, faculty, and professors over this tradition’s lifetime. With a new semester ahead of us, Friday Ice Cream would be a great socializing opportunity for old and new students, as well as a welcome break for all after a long, hard week.
