PPT Chandler: Today we will be electing the new PPT.

Chairman Reeve: I would appreciate some volunteers tomorrow, because we will be scooping ice cream for Hootenanny. 

Special Business:

The Send off Bill of Spring 2026 is brought up. 

VP Zoboroski: We will be having this dinner at the Butcher Shop. You should have gotten an email from Luke to RSVP. Please order under $20. It’s pretty reasonable. Next Thursday at 6 PM. 

The bill passes.

PPT Chandler: The election process of the new PPT starts with someone having to nominate the candidate. Then the nominated candidate(s) will have three minutes to give a short speech as to how they will help Senate. Then after that they will leave the room so that we can vote. 

Senator LaQuey: I nominate Senator Hefley.

Senator Falk: I nominate Senator Crawford.

PPT Chandler: Just so y’all understand, the PPT helps out the VP, and is the one who is next in command if the VP happens to be sick or absent. They also see over the four committee chairs and appoint them for the next semester.

Senator Hefley is voted in as the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 President-Pro Tempore.

PPT Chandler: We will swear in the new PPT and Chairs in the second-to-last session. 

VP Zoboroski: As far as I know, John and Keenan are intending to stay as the PR&R and GoPro chairs. We are looking for new chairs for FAC and Student Life.

VP Zoboroski: Yeah, Hootenanny on Friday at 7. 

Open Forum:

Various announcements about Hootenanny Events, such as the Alumni Rugby game and the Auto Society Go-Kart Sprint Races.
