Relating to the assistance of funding a punching bag and related equipment for Solheim.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate.

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Rocky Balboa Bill of Fall 2021"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. A total of two-hundred ($200) USD shall be allocated from the Senate General Fund for the purchase of a punching bag and related equipment.

2. All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the Senate General Fund.

Effective Date

Section C.

This bill shall become effective immediately after passage and not a second later.

Stipulations

Section D.

The punching bag and related equipment purchased will be in alignment with the recommendations made by Solheim's Rec Center Operations Manager or another staff member.

Explanations and Reasoning

Section E.

Several students and senators have observed and recommended that a new punching bag replace the old one currently hanging ever so pitifully in Solheim. This is a cheap way that we can very directly serve the student body who has requested this of us. Additionally, this could be used to help the Student Life Committee's Security sub-committee train for any necessary combat against fiends that would oppose us.
