Super Senate Ice Cream Funding Bill of Fall 2021

Relating to the purchase of ice cream and toppings for the Super Senate Friday Ice Cream Social.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Super Senate Ice Cream Funding Bill of Fall 2021"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. A total of five hundred ($500) dollars will be allocated for the purchase of ice cream, ice cream toppings, and supplies for the Super Senate Friday Ice Cream Social.

2. All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the Senate General Fund.

Effective Date

Section C.

This bill shall become effective upon passage

Stipulations

Section D.

The Super Senate Friday Ice Cream Social event and distribution of Ice Cream and Ice Cream toppings will not be in accordance with current COVID-19 regulations.

Explanations and Reasoning

Section E.

As the time ticks closer to Finals week, most students on campus will be stressing, if not already, and rushing around to prepare for Finals Week. In a spirit of good cheer, this bill would help fund the Super Senate Friday Ice Cream Social, where we will be serving ice cream of various flavors and covering the ice cream scoops with a plethora of toppings! This will be a great event for everyone to enjoy and take a break from the crazy week.
