Relating to the funding of the Fall semester's SI Blitz.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "SI Blitz Funding Bill of Fall 2022"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. A total of three hundred and fifty ($350) dollars will be allocated to aid in purchasing pizza for the SI Blitz.

Effective Date

Section C.

This act shall become effective upon passage.

Stipulations

Section D.

1. The funds appropriated in this bill will be used to purchase pizza and drinks for the SI Blitz.

2. All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the senate general fund.

Explanations and Reasoning

Section E.

The Achievement Center is hosting its semesterly SI Blitz on Saturday, December 3rd, and is requesting Senate funds to help pay for the pizza during the event. They are also requesting Senator volunteers to assist in running and maintaining the pizza from 2:30pm to 3:45pm. The SI Blitz is a great resource for students heading into Finals Week, especially the complementary pizza provided during the event. In addition, Student Senate has traditionally helped fund and staff the pizza portion of the Blitz and, with this bill, shall continue that tradition.
