Relating to the purchasing of supplies to get more student feedback

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

The "Amended Locating Outstanding, Unheard Demands" Bill act may be referred to as the "L.O.U.D. Bill of Spring 2024 v2"

Appropriations

Section B.

A total of one hundred ($100) shall be allocated from the Senate general fund for the purchase of the following:

• Two suggestion boxes

• Two posters printed through LETU

• Miscellaneous supplies

Effective Date

Section C.

This bill shall become effective upon passage

Stipulations

Section D.

1.    All funds not used in this manner shall revert back to the Senate general fund.

Explanations and Reasoning

Section E.

The Senate's been short of ideas, so I wanted to make a "loud" attention getting stand we can put in dorms/common areas to hopefully get feedback. This approach should hopefully get more interaction than a survey. While many would maintain that printing out cardboard cutouts would draw more attention, large posters are now suggested as an alternative option.
