Relating the appropriations of finances to Wrestling Club for the Spring of 2024 semester.

Be it enacted by the LeTourneau University Student Senate

Short Title

Section A.

This act may be referred to as the "Wrestling Club Funding Bill of Spring 2024"

Appropriations

Section B.

1. Wrestling Club is to be allocated $500 from the Student General fund for their semester club funding. 

Effective Date

Section C.

This act shall become effective upon passage.

Stipulations

Section D.

1. Wrestling Club was established last semester with the goal of bringing back the sport of wrestling at LETU. Due to a registration deadline prior to the standard club funding date they have requested funding prior to that date. As the wrestling club meets and exceeds the general club funding criteria we offered to bring a bill forward and attempt to meet their request. They have over 30 members and will be competing this spring.
